Eric van Dalum

Eric van Dalum had his first organ lesson at the age of 9. After he received several prizes at local competitions, he gained his first diploma, Church organ, in 1979. At the Academy of Music he chose Organ as his major but diversified into other activities shortly afterwards, and achieved 3 diplomas: Lecturer of Musical Organ, Practical diploma Church Music, Practical Diploma Church Choir Master. Since 1982 he is Cantor-organist of the Protestant Church in Rotterdam-Hillegersberg. He is attached to the Music Centre "Opmaat" in Vlaardingen, where he works as consultant primary education in Schiedam, Vlaardingen and Maassluis. As choir master he was associated with The Reformed Church Choir Hoogvliet, the Protestant Choir Heyplaat, Mixed Choir Association Excelsior and the Westland Choir Concordia in 's Gravenzande. After he worked as a private tutor with Royal Male Voice Choir "Die Haghe Sanghers" in The Hague he was appointed as choir master of Hillegersberg Male voice choir and of Male voice choir Internos in Krimpen a/d Lek. At the moment he is choir master of several choirs

Johan Oomkes

Johan Oomkes was choir master of male voice choir Gouda´s Liedertafel from1994 to juli 2000.
He was born in Loppersum (in the province of Groningen) in 1959. After secondary school he moved to Utrecht to study Physical Geography. After a few years he swapped the university for the Academy of the Arts in Utrecht and graduated in 1989 as choir master, organist and church musician. He taught organ and accompaniment at the School of Music in Houten. He is choir master of several choirs and is extremely interested in the way people experience music actively and passively. In this field he took several lectures in Musical Psychology at the Catholic University of Nijmegen and took part in educational conferences.
He put new interpretations for choir and lesson techniques into practice, both in rehearsal techniques as well as instruction material. With Johan, Gouda´s Liedertafel recorded two successful CDs. Johan arranged several songs for the choir, amongst others, the famous Jean Ferrat song “Het Dorp” (“The Village”).
André Bunnik

André Bunnik was born in Gouda in September 1948. During his day to day life he works as a science teacher. During his science study he took organ and piano lessons with Klaas Boersma and singing lessons with Dorothea Lagendijk. In 1975 and 1976 he enrolled in the Kurt Thomas course for choir masters and was taught by, amongst others, Felix de Nobel, Jaap Hillen and Jan Eelkema. Within a time frame of 15 years he gained experience in every choir field, from children’s choirs to senior citizen’s choirs. He was the choir master of male voice choir Gouda´s Liedertafel for almost 20 years. In this period he arranged many songs for our male voice choir, like the famous St Nicholas song “Hoort de Wind Waait…..”. (“Hear the wind blows…”)
Chris Verhoog

In 1960 Mr Chr. Verhoog became choir master of our male voice choir. He was a pupil of choir master Moss Wolff. Mr Verhoog left several pieces of music and arrangements of choir music behind. Mr Chr. Verhoog left the choir in 1975 and was succeeded by Mr A. Bunnik.
